About Reel Thing
Reel Thing is a bespoke voice recording service that produces voice reels tailored specifically to
you. We understand the importance of a standout voice reel and what you need to get professional VO work. Whether you’re an aspiring voice actor or an experienced professional looking to refresh your portfolio, Reel Thing is here to support you. We believe that your voice is unique, and your reel should reflect that.
Reel Thing comprises of audio engineer Matt Hill and voice actor Maddie Hatt. With a
combined experience of 25 years between us, we’ve produced voice overs together professionally for over 5 years and worked with some of the biggest brands in the world.
About Maddie
Maddie is an actor, writer and voice over artist who trained at The Guildford School of Acting. Maddie was a finalist in The Carleton Hobbs Radio Award 2017 and won a contract with BBC
Radio Drama. In 2018 she signed with top International voice over agency deVine Voices. Maddie teaches Speech and Dialect, Voice for Actors and Radio Technique at HNC level and above at a number of institutions.
About Matt
Matt is an audio engineer and has been producing music and voiceovers professionally for 15
years. He is currently in house engineer at 3Sixty Studios in Willesden, NW London. He has experience working on a wide variety of projects
including audiobooks, computer games, adverts and music.
About the studio
Reel Thing record and mix reels at 3Sixty Studios in Willesden. The Studio has a dedicated sound proofed, acoustically treated booth, A Neumann microphone and Neve pre amp. Your project will be mixed using state of the art Genelec monitors. The studio is walking distance from Dollis Hill on the Jubilee line and has on site parking.
